The TWIST EPIC Awards honor young women in the Twin Cities for their dedication to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These young women demonstrate Engagement, Passion, Innovation, and Curiosity within these fields and TWIST encourages them to continue pursuing this path. Twenty-five students will be selected and invited to an award ceremony with two supporters (parents or educators) starting at 1:30 pm at Target Headquarters on Friday, October 13th, 2017. There will be a free AFA Cyber Camp at the University of Pittsburgh this summer! Anyone enrolled in high school for the 2017-2018 school year can attend. Students will learn how to protect their personal devices and information from outside threats, as well as how to harden entire networks running Windows 7 and Ubuntu operating systems.
