The TWIST EPIC Awards honor young women in the Twin Cities for their
dedication to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These
young women demonstrate Engagement, Passion, Innovation, and Curiosity
within these fields and TWIST encourages them to continue pursuing this
path.
Twenty-five students will be selected and invited to an
award ceremony with two supporters (parents or educators) starting at
1:30 pm at Target Headquarters on Friday, October 13th, 2017.
All of the selected students will receive a certificate of recognition
presented by Target’s Chief Information Officer and two students will
receive a trophy and be honored for their outstanding achievements in
the STEM fields.
In addition, each selected student will have
the opportunity to participate in Target’s Science & Technology day,
mentorship from Target team members, job shadowing, and other
networking events in order to encourage personal growth and build
meaningful experiences that will help in future endeavors.
Eligibility
A nominee must meet the following criteria:
– She is in grades 8 through 12 during the 2017-2018 school year.
– She lives within the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
– Transportation to the award ceremony will not be provided.
